Plus Quam Silentium ("Beyond Silence"). Our illustrious patron, Pythagoras of Samos, is said to have remarked, "Be silent or let thy words be worth more than silence." Rosicrucianism is ancient and predates the fraternity's emergence from silence in the early seventeenth century of the Christian era. These pages continue the tradition of the Golden Ones, undertaking what Carl Lindgren termed the "universal reformation of mankind" through a science "built on [the] esoteric truths of the ancient past." Thus, our words move beyond silence because they adorn the greatest of all Rosicrucian mysteries: the regeneration of man through the discernment of knowledge through the heart.

Each paper has been researched by a College member who selflessly desires to share his vision of Rosicrucian light with others. The contributors demonstrate the breadth and depth of the calling at the heart of our Order on many different levels, and each highlights the well-deserved reputation for which the College has been regarded since its inauguration by our first celebrant, R.W. Bonham, in 1982. Indeed, future editions will include at least one paper from the College archive, for past minds dwell in our present.

The "Events" section includes photographs and details of recent College activities. After all, our Society is not solely about disseminating knowledge; it is also a place of fraternity and friendship. Pythagoras College holds meetings in Redditch, England, four times a year. Any Master Mason in a Lodge under the United Grand Lodge of England (or any foreign jurisdiction in amity with it) and who subscribes to the Trinitarian Christian faith is welcome to apply to join us by contacting the College Secretary at pythagoras.sria@gmail.com
